H&R Block At Home 2009 Deluxe Federal + State + eFile [Formerly TaxCut] for $24.99

This is for the CD, not the download.

Then if you have the $10 off TaxCut rebate that's out there, it will make this even sweeter.

OMG H&R sucks! TurboTax is SO much better

What's this based on? BTW I'm a CPA and have a Masters in Tax and have been using TaxCut for over 10 years for my own taxes. TurboTax is more expensive, but that's it.

Although I do agree that H&R Block sucks as far as a face-to-face tax prep company. :yesnod:

Should I Turbo? HR Block?

 I have used turbo tax for a long time. The price for HR Block got me thinking it is time for change?

Turbo Tax has been going up in price. I just do not know what to do. :nonod::nonod:

Personally, I'd give TaxCut a try. I love TC and have had no problems with it. Plus I would assume TurboTax can do the same, but you can carry forward your last year's TT return right into TC, so you won't have to start over from scratch this year.

Hi, BD.....then would you mind doing my taxes for ME????:greed: Thanks, buddy!

 BD. How have I "known" you for this many years and not known that about you. I thought maybe you were into computers/programming/something along that line.

This changes everything. Wow!

Either I have to adjust my worldview of accountants or I have to adjust my understanding of you because you seem so much hipper/more fun than an accountant...

I've been using the Taxcut software for 7 - 8 years now with very few problems. The only issue I had was two years ago I did there online version. It had a major bug that forced me to take a deduction that I didn't want for future tax reasons. It caused my return to be rejected three times. Even there support didn't know what the issue was. I finally had to do a little work and got it fixed. Again, that was for the online version, there installed version has never been an issue.

I don't prepare returns, so I'm not like most accountants. I do 100% consulting.

I thought BD was Mickey Mouse! My dreams have been shattered.

Does anyone know if there is an online link for the Best Buy dvd credit ($20)? Apparently I threw away a postcard my husband was saving with the promotion on it. whoopsie. PLEASE...help restore the peace in my home if you know of a way to get a replacement!!!!

Have you ever been to Disney? If so, you'd know they make loads of bread to go with their cheese.:ack: :behindsofa:
