It begins on the last day of the Hajj, which I believe was last week. I could however, be very wrong. I'm sure I'll be told if I am.

It starts on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijja and is four days long. Its the day after the pilgrims in Hajj descend the mountain approximately 70 days after Ramadan. Its one of two Eid celebrations.

Hajj begins 12/18. Eid Al-Adha begins 12/20.
