ok this is out of topic. but its a business question.

Let say you pay for this furniture in full and you are waiting for it to arrive so you can pick it up at the warehouse.

now you purchase it on
Monday, and it was ready to be picked up on Wednesday.
It burns down on Friday but you have not yet picked up your furniture yet.
Who is responsible for the lost?

Now if you chose to have it deliver and the the warehouse burns down, who is then responsbile?

either way i think you should get your money back

If you don't want the furniture anymore, just contact them and arrange for the order to be canceled. You don't have to burn down the warehouse.

As far as either situation is concerned, the 'custody', if you will, of the furniture is in the hands of the warehouse. Since you have not taken possession of it at all, then you are not liable nor responsible.
