Heres Your Sign!! Just felt i needed to do this cuz of what i just read....

I just opened up a frozen pizza and was reading the back of the box to find out what temp to cook it on when i saw " Keep Frozen Cook Before Serving".
Ok i know i'm blonde but dayummmmmmmmm. I have never known anyone to try to eat a pizza that hasnt been cooked. Maybe its just me. lolLOL
:suspect:
Anyone else experienced something like this??

In the words of Neil Boortz "We need to repeal all the laws that protect stupid people".

One of my favorites is the warning on a knife packaging "Warning: functionally sharp blade"

Well I hope so!

The famous McD cup of Joe....."contents are hot"....

Ever notice how even the smallest and simplest of devices- say a pocket knife - now come complete with a 23-page booklet of "consumer warnings" , such as "Piercing human or animal skin may cause serious or gross bodily injury or legal liability and prosecution as allowed by law..."

lol lady thats what i'm talkin about.... i guess when they put these warnings on here its cuz they have been sued or someone complained about it (whatever it might be) AND THATS another story!! lol

Do you think someone played around with the knife and went " Umm Nobody ever told me it could do that??"

Ummmmm... when I was in college, I had two guy friends who were so buzzed and hungry that they took a frozen pizza out of the freezer and "tried" to eat it uncooked. They didn't get too far, but they did try...

And the booklet is an inch thick because of how many languages it's written in. I usually rip it apart and just keep the pieces that the people who r-e-s-p-e-c-t this county enough to learn the language can read. (uh-oh I think I ranted there a bit)

i think it's great fun to see how much of my high school and college spanish will help me translate the booklets :p

I just bought a new cel phone and the "care" section said,

"Don't drop your phone" (there was a little anti-picture even)

and "Don't try to dry your phone in a microwave oven"....I guess the regular oven wasn't a problem.

If you dry your phone in a microwave it damages the phone AND the microwave. In the regular oven it just melts your phone but the oven is OK.

Yes but you aren't trying to live in a Spanish or Latino country.

I hope that wasn't something you learned from experience! LOL

I learned it from leaving the little metal wire on the Chinese take-out box and putting it in the microwave. The sparks were pretty neat :worry: but the microwave manual told me it could cause damage to the microwave in 5 languages so when I did it I really knew it was bad :p Maybe if it had only been written in one language I wouldn't have believed it?

During our recent move we bought a number of those huu--uuuge ziploc/hefty bags for some of the lighter packing (they are actually quite handy!!) and one of the brands actually has a symbol of a baby zipped inside a bag on the outside of the bag and the international "no" symbol over it.......really? these aren't for keeping the kids fresh and clean and ready to go???? ...shucks. I have seen it all now.
