Holding items before the sale?

Hey all,
I know Officemax has a knack of taking sale items off their website the day the sale begins. Do you think if I have the items already in my shopping cart on Saturday night I could still get them Sunday morning?
Or....if I buy the items Sunday at 12:01am, would the prices/rebates still be valid? Even though the stores aren't even open yet?

I'm not sure if putting the items in your cart will work. Some venders will empty carts at midnight and almost everyone will check to verify stock upon checkout. So it doesnt matter if the items are in your basket before or not.

As for snagging the items at 12:01a that should work. The sale starts at midnight so I would think that would work. I think there are ppl on here that do that.
