yup I am in too :) I just hit platinum on Carnival so now it's time to build up RCCL..only have 1 with them but they say in the website that we will get a special offer on a cruise so I am hoping it's a good one :)
 
Just checked out the site and I am not a finalist. Oh well I would rather have the Lunchable party! Hope I get that one. Congrats on getting in on it!

This will be my second houseparty and will be cool since we'll be at the beach on August 8th.
Hope the package has some sweet items.
 
did u see the crap that came? and to top it off, we have to sell the cruises for the travel agency sponsoring this...what a farce! just wrote to house party about it....not a happy camper!! other people are complaining about it too....read the board....

they sent:

paper apron
napkins
balloons
dvd w/karaoke on it

and to come...get this lmao

brochures

so I get to sell the cruises and they get the commissions
 
Wow--I usually don't look at the house party threads, because I don't know enough people locally to even host one, but I looked at this thread because it involved cruising--and I love cruising. This sounds really, really tacky. I thought you would go on the cruise and have a party there. Boy, was I delusional. I've never sailed with RCC, and I really have no interest in doing so anyway (I have my own favorite lines), but after this--very disappointing. Thought they were better than that.
 
I just got my reject, looks like I didn't miss out on anything. I always sail with Princess , looks like I'll continue to do that
 
Wow I have never ever seen so many complaints about a HP offer! I am glad now that I was not picked! Sorry for those that were and are now having to most likely cancel their parties. Keep us posted on what happens.
 
This is the second HP I've been awarded, and it is very disappointing.
Going on a trip to the beach with family, and was looking forward to starting it off with a great cruise party.
Unless we go out and purchase a cruise, the family won't be happy (except that we'll be on vacation).
That's not happening....
 
well, I wasn't picked, but I'm not tooo surprised over this. I mean, cruises tend to cost thousands of dollars or at least hundreds of dollars right? All the previous HP's, even with the goods, never amount to close to anything over 100-200 dollars worth of gifts.

I wasn't expecting a cruise....anyone that was is nuts but at least they could have made the party pack better....we were also supposed to be getting a cruise discount...some discount! same one that is in EVERY brochure...I will prob be sending mine back too....

Royal Caribbean gift items: baseball cap, tote bag, magnets and window clings
