How do you guys handle consolidating magazine subscriptions?

When you have multiple subscriptions to the same magazine, do you wait till you get duplicates before calling customer service to combine them, or do you do it sooner, before getting duplicates? If so, how soon?

It's been my experience that when you sign up for the same mag over and over that they just add on to your existing subscription.

For example, I signed up for Computer Gaming World through RewardsGold, MagsCentral, and the offer from Xbox.net. Currently, my sub doesn't end until 2007.

So, that's the result most of the time. However, if you receive more than 1 of the same mag in the mail, all you need to do is give the magazine publisher in question a call and clue them into the fact that you're receiving double, and they'll take care of it by combining your subs.
