test

100% Dixie (Is general Lee Your Father?)

!! I was born and raised in New York!

31% (Yankee). A definitive Yankee.

Hooray! I haven't lost my NY dialect!

I grew p in NY (Long Island) and we never said "car-mel." It was always "caramel," with 3 syllables. However, this test says that both are common in the NE states. Ah well, maybe in other NE states, but not NY (the island, burroughs, or city). :)

40% Barely into the Yankee category.

Guess those 2yrs i spent in upstate NY (North Country) didnt' change anything about me except for my accent.

Great to be from Lon-Guy-Land!

Shoot, Im deaf, so I can't do that test, not that I can't say the words, but I can't hear myself saying those words.

I can talk with my hands tho. You know, deaf people do it with their hands. Oh, wait, too much info :-)
