How i love ebay

Wow! That's a very good investment.

yeah for about 2 week turnaround time

Sweet... I do this with pawn shop items when the pawn shop doesn't have a clue what they have. I buy it really low and put it on ebay and make a 100%+ profit. :D

I bought about 50 "special" books from a person for around $50 each and I was doing backflips when I was selling them on eBay for between $110 and $250 each. Too bad the guy I bought them from ran out of books.

I was pressed for time at the time of posting and didn't want to explain that they were KISSTORY books. 9 pound huge book about the group KISS. :o

I have 2 of them books. UPS lost one and I was sent a free replacement, but the original ended up finding its way to me a little while later. :claps:

Pretty good reading

That's great! :bigok: Are they the autographed versions with the original members? I sold those books and a couple KISSTORY IIs about 4 years ago, now the prices are going back up again. Although I didn't keep any. :( I was actually going to keep a poor condition copy, but someone made me an offer on it that I couldn't refuse, plus I already read it. ;)

FYI KISS was the very first concert I went to MANY, MANY moons ago. I was about 12 years old and Judas Priest opened up for them. Being 12 and only liking KISS at the time, I couldn't wait for Judas Priest to get off the stage. Now I know what I missed.

dehawk666, you should buy it again and relist!

hmm t hat should piss the guy off , with auctions i rearlised its all about timin g, list it on sunday night with a 7 day auction.

I've arbritraged more than a few times. Buy low, sell high. eBay is an imperfect marketplace (for those economists out there), so sometimes the laws of supply and demand don't work. My recommendation is to look for items with misspelled or bad product descriptions.

I was trying to find a used Clarion CD changer for my Jetta. Kept buying them at $25-40 but they'd show up DOA. I'd re-sell the DOA unit (clearly described as DOA, no returns) for $60-80. That's weird.

I'd also suggest checking out the for sale section of Craigslist.org. In NYC, Plenty of people dump expensive belongings for next to nothing rather than move them. Last week, I bought a Radio Shack PRO-51 200-channel police scanner in NEW condition for $20. It would probably sell for $100 on eBay. You just gotta know your merchandise.
