From the 'what's your name thread' I see we have a few 'Christines' which got me to thinking....(that is dangerous within itself)...anyway...

How often do you meet people who have the same name as you?

Do you have friends who have the same name as you?

Does anyone have a 'best friend' who has the same name?

Did you ever meet anyone with the same first and last name as yours?

I rarely if ever meet anyone with my name, and it's not an odd or obtuse name neither.

I went to junior high with a girl that shared the same name. Didn't like her either LOL. Never met anyone else along the way.

Your first name is so old, everyone who used to have it is gone from this planet ;) :)

I agree, Methuselah is a bit of an old one!!!

Obviously, I have a very common name. It causes me to act out. :30:

Wrong as usual JMB....
Methuselah, Biblical Figure

Born: ?
Birthplace: ?
Died: ?
Best Known As: The biblical figure who lived nearly 1000 years
Methuselah was a descendant of Adam who lived to be 969 years old, according to the Bible. Methuselah is not a major figure in the Bible; he is mentioned only in passing in Genesis, 1 Chronicles 1:3, and Luke 3:37.

I assure you...I'm 100% all girl...:05:

Throughout my somewhat longish life, I have mt several people of both sexes that share my first name. I have never MET anyone with both my first and last but I know of one person who exists ( I think he's still alive) that had both my first and last name.... the ex coach of Memphis State in the 70's & 80's

Well that is her name, Lulu. So she was referencing her nickname from that era. ;)

I work with 2 other Jerrys. I'm a Jerome, one is a Gerald and one is a Gerard. We used to have Geraldine and I heard the other day that another Jerome was starting. If the new Jerome is correct that will only be the 3rd Jerome I have known and one of those had the same middle name as I which is Edward. Jerome seems to be rare enough but Jerome Edward? The "Jerry matter" can sometimes be confusing when someone calls out the name, just like when kids call, "DAD!". It can be a little distracting since their are more than a few men who answer to that one. And then there is Jerry Mathers but I've never really known The Beaver.

There is a news reporter on one of the Houston, TX television stations that has the same first and last name as me. I have never met her and I am not sure if she is still on the air. When I was in high school a couple of my friends had the same first name as me. My name is very common and has several spellings. :)
