How to get an Internal to External?

I once saw on tiger direct or another prgram that there is a "pc part" its like a cover..in which u can turn an internal HD into a External HD?

can anyone help me out me out with the name of the pc part.

Its pretty easy

Because I can do it! You buy the external HD and the enclosure which is cheap, and then you can use a firewire connection or USB, whatever you get. They can help you at any store. Good question!

yeah I chose to pick what may be considered a "pretty expensive" one for around $60 cause it got good reviews and looks decent.

What size hd you can put in the case depends on the case chipset.
