If you are going to Disneyland soon or in the future, this tip will save you a lot of money.

Regular Ticket Price
- 1 Day Park Hopper - $131 ~ $137 ( $137/day )
- 2 Day Park Hopper - $197 ~ $210 ( $105/day )
- 3 Day Park Hopper - $244 ~ $260 ( $87/day )
- 4 Day Park Hopper - $265 ~ $285 ( $71/day )
- 5 Day Park Hopper - $279 ~ $300 ( $60/day )

Craigslist Sellers
- People are selling hopper passes on Craigslist. Some are employees that got the ticket for free or some are buying 6-day passes only to sell the days they didn't use
- Be careful when dealing with Craigslisters. Meet the seller in front of the gate and pay after you have entered
- 1 Day Park Hopper - $80 ~ $115

"Craigslist Sellers

...and the rest are counterfeit...

I agree, there's a ton of people selling counterfeit passes on craigslist. This a situation where your experience may vary, but the risk is not worth it.

Also an FYI - partially used multi-day park hopper passes are NOT allowed (by Disney) to be sold or used by anyone other than the person who initially used the ticket. I highly recommend not taking the risk of buying passes on ebay, let alone craigslist which is even more likely to scam you.

The last few times we've gone, the turnstyles at all the parks had fingerprint readers - when you buy your passes, the first time through it reads your print and ties that to the pass in the computer, so that nobody else can use it. The next time through, the fingerprint has to match, or it won't let you in.

We tested it by switching passes a couple times, and it always failed; we'd switch back and it would let us through. I absolutely would stay away from partially used passes, unless they're selling you a severed thumb with it. :-)

I have to agree - I wouldn't risk it. The only way to verify what you're even getting is to show up at guest services and ask what's actually on the pass. And the finger scanners may nab you even if it is a legit pass. (It's not actually a finger-PRINT scanner for those who are curious.)

We recently went to DL and the Southern California Annual Pass is almost the same price as going for two days at full price. We're just going to go again in a few months, and figure we payed half price each day :-) I agree with everyone below, these third party passes seem kinda shady. Wouldn't want to strand your family outside the gate!

This post seems to be referring to DisneyLAND, which does not use finger scanning. It is possible to use another person's extra days (thought technically against the terms of sale). However, I would still consider it a risky thing to do.

Not worth buying off CL, I was scammed recently and I've learned my lesson the hard way!

Why is this posted here?!
These tickets should only be bought thru a reputable dealer!
Spoofee why would you post this? It almost feels like u want people to get scammed.

WHY is this reposted? They are VERY strict. They have your real name printed on the ticket now, they check I.D. every time you get in and out of the park.

ALL Disney tickets on Craigslist are scams. Don't fall for this.

Do not buy from craigslist. If you don't have the money, don't go. There are many other activities you can do with your kids for a lower cost. I went to Disneyland last month with 3 Day Park Hopper from AAA (to get free parking), they did take a picture of my entire family. Before I went, I contacted the guy who sold eBay tickets to my friend before, they said they no longer sell Disney tickets. You don't want your wife looked embarrassed and your kids look disappointed. Don't go if you don't have $. Go for at least 3 days to save more on cost. The longer you stay the less money you pay per day. Don't do Park Hopper. I recommended 2 days in Disneyland and 1 day in California Adventure.

I was under the impression that once the ticket was used by one person, no one else could use it. It is tied to your finger print. We have been told by Disney World in Florida that only one person can use a ticket. I may be wrong but I am pretty sure that this is the way it is supposed to work

We always use the hopper and I disagree that it is not needed. The flexibility to go from one park-which may be insanely crowded-to another or to have the day at HS and dinner at Epcot is well worth the extra money to us. I can't imagine being stuck in one park all day-much more fun to go to one park in the morning, take a midday break to swim and eat and then go back to another park. The tickets are expensive anyway so this option hardly matters overall and has many benefits.tiny.cc/tli8sx
