HOWTO Rip DVD Movies To Your iPod Using Free Software

That's so funny, I just did this research a couple of days ago but figured that no one would care enough to post it.

I have been using HandBrake and it is a great alternative to all the programs that rely on QuickTime Pro (the worst encoder ever) for encoding.

For Windows, my friend is swearing by Videora.
