Hello Everyone!

I'm looking for a good deal on a gold edition hp 12c not the platinum edition

* brand name HP used
* one that works
* $50 or less
* don't need it very soon

Thanks!

hi crisplinen,

by "gold" edition, do you mean standard?

just fyi, pricegrabber.com has a $5 rebate if you write a review for the standard hp 12c calculator. Pricegrabber price comparison

Seems like the lowest price for this new is currently on Amazon.com, $64.59 Shipped.

there are also some people selling this in the amazon marketplace for around $50 "like new" (scroll down the page to the "used" section)

If you have a Palm handheld, you can also get Abacus for $12 whole smackers. It is just like the HP12C but it runs on the Palm and is a heck of a lot cheaper. I use this one as my default calculator!
Abacus was designed to mimic the Hewlett Packard 12C, a popular handheld financial calculator first sold two decades ago and still in production today. Because of this, some of the functionality may seem unusual or unintuitive - blame HP, not us.
And here is a linky to the manual.

I have a HP 12c and a Texas Instruments BAII plus. They do similar functions. I like the T.I. Ba+ much better than the 12c. The BA+ seems much easier to use. It is also only $28 at Newegg.
