Not too bad

This deal is really not too bad...until you see that you have to buy the monitor separately. Dell has computers very similar to this (stat-wise) that include a monitor for only a fractional increase in price.

I haven't read any reviews of this (other than the one on Office Depot's site) to have an opinion of the quality or reliability of this PC, but the price alone gives me reason to shop around a little before buying this.

It seems the dell deals all have been including the 19",20" Ect. and great prices.

Still, this computer is a powerhouse for $400 - great deal. My computer works just fine, and I'm still seriously considering getting this. The video card is the only thing I would consider upgrading. Other than that, this is a pretty kick-ass computer.

Due to the small form factor of the PC your options for video card upgrades are very limited - so keep that in mind should you aim to upgrade the video.

Agreed. The installed video is used in laptops. One would do better to get a laptop since a laptop at least has a screen.

Get a barebones deal from Tigerdirect or Newegg and a Spoofee monitor deal. Upgrade that to a full $400 spent, install Linux and have fun doing the cool 3D stuff that Vista users dream of. :claps:

Boo - guess I'm not getting this computer then. My current computer doesn't have pci-express slots, so I'm very limited in terms of what video cards I can buy. All the new video games that just came out (Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, etc) need ridiculous video cards, and my setup just can't handle that.

Any recommendations for good, cheap computers (no monitor necessary) that have a good video card situation goin on??

Went to ALL the stores in Denver, NONE of the stores had this computer & all tried to sell me a simular item with only a 400GB hd. Also tried ordering online & every zip code out of 40 entered it was not available in that area. Tried calling order line & was told they were out of stock 2 days ago!! Sale only started 2 days ago?? The mewest store in Denver claimed they never even had them in stock to begin with!

Picked one up anyway - video card suggestions?

I picked one of these up and it runs great. I wanted to swap out the video card though and perhaps the sound card - any suggestions - what kind does it use? I have a 26" Viewsonic LCD w/a VGA input and I'm set.
