(Mistake) HP Photosmart R607 4.1MP Digital Camera for $106 Shipped After Rebate

TigerDirect.com has the HP Photosmart R607 (4.1mp, 3x optical zoom) digital camera for only $149.99 - $50 rebate = $99.99 + Ship ( $5.99 )

Check out the reviews from CNET, Steves Digicam and Amazon users (4/5). Looks like a great budget camera.

Pricegrabber Price : $156 ~ $380 Shipped

Update : (Mistake) The rebate requires a purchase of any desktop/laptop or a HP All in-one-printer purchase. If you ordered this deal and do not qualify for the rebate, please call 1-800-800-8300 to cancel your order. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The rebate form says this is a "COMBO" rebate.
Must purchase two products. Be careful!

dealing with TigerDirect is 50X worse than pulling teeth. I remember back when I ordered a CPU fan from them like 6 years ago and I got some other fan that didn't fit correctly on my motherboard. I looked the fan I received up on their website and it was priced lower than the model I ordered by around 5 bucks. I called up their sales line and asked them what happened and they said that they didn't have the fan I ordered so instead of informing me it was on back order, they just sent me the wrong, less expensive fan without even giving me the difference back. I told them why I didn't get informed of anything that was going on and the guy told me that I needed a fan so they were doing me a favor.

So hey, maybe you will order this digital camera and receive a kodak disposable. Then they will tell you that you wanted a camera so they sent you one. Buyer beware.

I have read dozens of posts about their rebates. So be careful. They also have very high shipping costs sometimes, although that might have changed.

HP is OK, tigerdirect will scr3w you in a heartbeat

I bought a barebones system from them and they had my PO box down as my address (that is where I try to get most of my junk mail & catalog's, etc). Anyway, the barebones system was $299 - $160 (rebates) =$139 AR. Filled out all the rebates online, made sure to follow everything "to a T". Sent in my rebates and the damn crooks told me that they would not honor my rebate submission because the address did not match the address on the purchase. I still had time so I tried to resubmit the information and they told me "sorry we do not send to PO boxes" (I know this part is standard).

Tiger Direct will tell you they stand behind their rebates with a guarentee, but that is absolutely worthless. Don't deal with their rebates, they truely are the kings of tricking you out of your money. I only deal with them because they are local and I save on shipping and get product right away but if it is a rebate, just add it to YOUR cost of doing business.
