HP Refurbished LaserJet 2600N Color Printer for $149.98 Shipped After Rebate

This is a great printer, I've owned mine for almost two years, and I have not one complaint.

From the Staples page it looks like this refurb comes without the cartridges. The four cartridges required will cost ~$300 if you by OEM, or ~$200 for off-brand. For that much, you can buy the printer new.

Not a deal.

i'll pass, doesn't seem like a deal to me

awesome deal

I called staples and they said the printer comes with all the toners. I also added $0.78 in pencil lead to use my 30$ off 150$ coupon. Total came to $128.31 shipped for free.

Did Staples happen to say if the carts are 'starter' carts?

I didn't ask but i received the printer today. The toners are HP Part # Q6000A through Q6003A, which doing some research appears to be 2500 page yield black and 2000 page yield on the colors. I'm just going off the specs on newegg.com which are selling them for 75$ a peice. This is my first color laser so i don't know whether these are starter toners or not. Hope that helps.

@m.p.eckert: Hmm, looks like I stand corrected! Enjoy the printer.

I'll pass as well. Thank you for breaking down the additional costs, Wayno.

Does it come with a new drum? The drums on my 2200 only give around 25000 pages. One can only imagine how many pages a refurb has printed. But you should be able to run a test page that shows the number of pages printed.

Or wait for Sunday May 4:
Starting Sunday (5/4), Staples will have
Samsung CL-300 Color Laser Printer for $249.98 - $150 ESR = $99.98
If you have a $40 off $200 coupon, you can reduce it to $59.98

Here's a four pack kit of toner carts for $80.95. 20% coupon linked plus free shipping.

Link Here

$101.19 - 20% ($20.24) = $80.95

Oops, sorry, the Clp deal is another laser printer discussion I'm following over on a different deal board. Got 'em confused there.
