Good Morning all.Well, without going into specifics,my husband and I have things worked out and its all good.We got everything cleared up with our landlord.I don't want to go into to details.Lets just say we are very happy. :yesnod:

I understand you can find some great deals on monitors at spoofee.com :yesnod:

From the last time I posted, the landlord is such a liar. All we got from the idiot landlord was "no,your house isn't in foreclosure."But,we checked with the bank and it wasn't in pre-foreclosure,it was in foreclosure because the jerk didn't make any mortgage payments on our rent-to own house since July 2007.So we let him have the house. We are now a lot happier in our new place.
We all lost about $34,000 that we had paid in our monthly $1200 a month rent.As far as I am concerned,he can take the house and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.:rant:

Does that mean you essentially "rented" and the $34K was the rent? $34K otherwise seems like grand theft and a little more serious than small claims court. I think you should go after the bastage, at least for your moving costs.

Agreed. If the contract specified an amount of the monthly rent was going toward your down payment, then sue him for that amount, plus moving costs, plus legal fees.

Sorry to hear the other arrangement didn't work out for you, but glad you're in a better place now.

Well, I hope that your new neighbors aren't the kind that have screaming fights at 2:00am.
