Hi there, folks! A friend turned me on to Spoofee about a year and a half ago, and I've been able to score a number of great deals and the "occasional freebee that I deemed important". Therein lies the difference between my friend and I. Where I only strive for the free stuff that I think I really need ( 1 in 10 offers of free stuff ), my friend has become a pathetic horder of freebees. She signs up for EVERYTHING to get anything FREE. Even if it is a stupid pen. This absolute GREED has become ridiculous. She gets all this free stuff and most of it ends up in some box in her garage... because she never needed it nor intended to use it or give it to somebody else. But it was FREE, so by golly she HAD TO HAVE IT. That is my whole point. People... I understand the drug-like rush one gets when discovering some free give-a-way... but, take a deep breath and evaluate the situation. Is this thing gonna end up collecting dust in a box marked "stuff", or even end up in the trash? I saw a remark in this forum where the person questioned whether or not to apply for the freebee, but then answered their own question by stating that although the item was worthless and totally unneeded, it was FREE, therefore they had to have it. I dunno, I'm not one to burst anyones bubble, but greed has always annoyed me. Greed is the one thing that is seriously wrong with humans and will destroy this planet and it's gonna happen within the next 10 years. OK, so now I got all that off my chest... I hope not to have offended anyone. Just venting!
