What a frickin' piece of sh!+ Microsoft Outlook is!!!!!!

Tonight as I was checking my email, through Microsofts mail service, the program all of a sudden deletes some of my folders and now I've lost some important email.

I've always hated using it but have had too for work.

This doesn't seem to be working...

I might have to go get a hammer!!!! :banghead:

I have had the same problem so many times. I have found an alternative to Outlook.
I have been using Incredimail for close to a year now. No problems so far for me. I find it much more user friendly also. It's worth a looksee for you anyway.

I forgot to mention that I use the FREE version of Incredimail.

IAmLarry, have you ever created your own .pst file and saved your e-mail there? At least you can back up the file on a regular basis.

firefox has a mail program like outlook, try it out.

Yeah, it's called Thunderbird.

I use Thunderbird at home, it works very well.

Does anybody know why everytime I send JPG image with Thunderbird (using HTML format) to Outlook, I can only save it as BMP which increases filesize by 3-4 times? The message itself is based on the JPG filesize. I tried to forward it to Yahoo! mail but same issue, then I sent it to Hotmail, only then I get the JPG file back.

im glad we are using lotus notes instead of outlook. its a nice change in pace to step away from microsoft products...

I guess this is the 'official' venting thread......

Need to vent, my father can get under my skin at the drop of the hat. He goes thru life like Mr. Magoo with his own agenda and crushes everyone in his path and never, once notices! You can talk to him very bluntly and it goes in one ear and out the other! I'm tired of being rolled over and not heard. AND....just to be a last straw......that bast*rd never even wished me a Happy Birthday. Might as well be the stray dog you pass in the street....

Oh, um , so today's not your b-day. I think I started something in the other thread. So when is your real b-day, Preco?

It was last week. I'm not a big birthday person myself it's just that you would expect certain people in your life to kind of acknowledge it, like your own father  But I guess I should expect it when there isn't a 'Merry Christmas" coming your way neither....**shakes head**....my father is just so retarded...

Anyway, I'm very fortunate enough to have a wonderful husband and other family members and friends who do remember *and also thinks my father is a moron* LOL and of course I appreciate the well wishes from 'the spoofers'. :) Thanks to all.

Bloody highway driver's , cant stop at coon crossings

:shakes fist:

bloody coondog spoofers who can't use apostrophes properly
:shakes both fists:

Mr. Magoo strikes again.......not only did he re-arrange my garage (so now I can't find anything), "clean" (more like went snooping) my car (which by the way isn't cleaned up at all, he just went through all my papers)......, as a favor to a free-cycler, who wanted her young son to 'earn' money instead of handouts, I spent the last 3 weeks keeping and cleaning the return deposit cans/bottles for her son to pick up, I told her I had it for her and that when I returned they could pick it up - well Mr. Magoo brought back all the returns and kept the 4 bucks for himself (I had to ask him about it)........he then proceeded to take it upon himself to change the paper in the cockatiel cage (that I had just changed before I left) he used the glossy magazine colored ink section...and my bird is dead....:banghead:...not a good day....:banghead:

Happy Belated Birthday Preco :present: and I am also sorry to hear of the loss of your bird :60:

Thanks Babs, we had Bingo about 12 years or so. He was a 'rescue' cockatiel that whistled 'pop goes the weasel'. **Shakes head** I swear I must be adopted.......

Or you could possibly be from the milk man LOL j/k

When I was young my 2 older bros told me all the time that I was adopted. I was really upset for a while until I realized that I kind of looked a lot like the family...so I confronted them. That's when they told me that that's why they adopted me, because I did look like them!

I'm sorry for the terrible day/week. Its shocking at some of the things your dad does.. I'll have to remember that when I get mad at my parents when they are only naggy. Poor Birdie. Happy Belated Birthday!

Thanks Scoopons....I should just be glad that he's still here because, somewhere deep inside, I love that retarded moron......I'd give anything to have my Mom...

Oh..and when it got dark tonight...the driveway lights didn't go on...:hmm:...with all his put-zing around today, Mr. Magoo blew the circuit for the driveway lights...ya think he'd mention that???? **Shakes head**...You just can't make this stuff up....**still shaking head***and my brothers think I'm being too harsh....let them house him....
