I am happy to say that I am not heartbroken anymore. That doesn't mean I wont ever stop loving or missing my Lab who passed away 3 weeks ago.I have adopted a 2 year old Golden Retriever named Max.Max was at the shelter because his family have decided to stop feeding him and left him almost starving to death.I guess he had sores on his neck from a really tight collar.Right now he is living in our home where his new family does care and love him unconditionally. He can run around in a fenced in yard and can sleep whereever he wants....and he is smart and loves dog toys.
He is sort of heartbroken because he misses his former owners. Why? I don't know.He is going to be my service dog.He is so sweet. He is a deep gold color, almost red.He is a big mush.
Then there is my other new family member, our Beagle named Hunter. He is NOT a hunting dog, just a couch potato. When we(the hubby,my daughter and myself)were waiting on Max,there was a family that were turning in this sweet Beagle. There wasn't anything wrong with him, they couldn't keep him.But when the people who was Hunter's family found out because of his age(he's 6),the shelter people would put him down, my daughter said that we have to take him home, and we did.
So thats my story and well my two new family members.
