i bought 2 cartridges at inkgrabber around a year ago and just needed to use them and they dont fit in my printer what do i do

same problem!

yeah, i know! i have the same problem!!! actually, it's not that the inks don't physically fit; it's that the printer doesn't recognise them. i hate this. i bought extra ink in order to stock up and probably also to take advantage of the shipping rate or something... now, i'm stuck with ink cartridges that i can't use. i think i bought mine from like 123inkjet or carrot ink or... i forget.

Just so you all are aware, refilled inks must FIRST be used within three months. Otherwise the ink may clog the printhead. As long as you use them regularly, then there is no problem. By the way, get your cartridges from a local place as they should honor the fact the ink didn't work.

The reasons that your printer may not recognize the cartridge:
The chip on the cartridge is bad.
The chip on the cartridge needs cleaning on its contacts. (Use the eraser portion of a pencil to clean.)

If the cartridge chip is bad, the only thing you can do is get another cartridge or ask the refiller to replace.
