For the past couple of years I have grown my beard and been "Broadway Santa" as seen in my avatar. It was a huge success in my Church Christmas Skit.

I have the beard on the way (started mid Sept), the tux, the faux mink santa cap (must get it to the dry cleaners very soon) and last year replaced the umbrella with an elegant candy striped cane with a mistletoe top (if I can find it again)

The problem I have is that my beautiful Christmas scarf is getting a bit tattered and there is NOTHING I can find on the internet (at a reasonable price) that communicates the correct amount of Christmas Cheer.

In my desperation I thought of the Spoofee community. Does anyone know where I can find a fitting scarf? (and I DON'T knit!)

JerryP, what is your price range? I'm sure we can find a suitable scarf to emote the right amount of Holiday Cheer.

Ebay has some & at a very low cost.

is this close? although this is for children.. all the ones i could find online were knitting projects.. i'll keep an eye out though.

If it were a little longer it would totally work! The price is right enough although my old one was a $3.00 closeout but it too must be a kid's scarf by it's length. Funny I never thought of checking the Albanian web site before

I'll check eBay for sure. Amazon lists 5468 scarfs but none of them are right. :mmph:

Hey Jerry, was just in K mart and they had some scarves that were similar to the one you are wearing in your avatar pic. They were with the womens scarves and gloves.. Hope that helps

Thanks, K-Mart sounds good. I looked at Sam-Club and last week Wal-Mart didn't have anything. Ebay was kind of OK but didn't really have what I wanted.

I find it amazing at how drab winter scarfs are. I never noticed until I got into this little project. Granted it's nowhere near as drab as the foreign contries I have been in. At least in the US we have a smattering of bright ski jackets and such but it could be soooo much brighter and why not? Argentina ladies on the other hand, not being PC, wear some of the most beautiful fur coats I have ever seen.

I think some industrious entrepreneur in the closthing business could make a fortune with colorful winter fashion and accessories.
