I have a lengthy paper due on Friday and I'm just starting it...I know..:doh: I honestly think better under pressure though.
My paper is about American Indian stereotypes and how they affect me personally and society as a whole. I am adding a survey to my paper.
This is where you come in.
The survey below is very short. It should only take a few minutes. Since I am crunched for time the questions aren't really too indepth.
The survey is completely anonymous. All I see are the results.
You don't have to sign up for anything, so please help me out and take my survey.

I love your survey (especially the last question), but for some reason, it is not fully loading right now. (My computer is only letting me get on spoofee and one other sight right now.) :( I'll have to take it later.

My wife traces her ancestry to Pocahontas. Not that she has any other connection to Indians. If you want an opinion it's just like anything else - if someone cares they care. If they "care" negative then that's how they see it. If they "care" positive then that's how they see it.

Ok, now for the stereotype answers:
The first few questions were for demographics so I'll skip those.

Are you of American Indian descent? 27.5 said yes and 72.5 said no

Have you heard any American Indian stereotypes? 42.5 said yes and 57.5 said no

Have you personaly been affected by these stereotypes? 7.5 said yes and 92.5 said no

Do you think American Indians are being wrongly portrayed as mascots of any kind?

Yes I think so--mu high school mascot was an indian warrior and it was recently changed because of these sterotypes--now it just doesn't seem the same

no, due to the mistreatment of native americans by the settlers, i think its redundant to now say they're hero's and their symbols are our symbols.

The results show clearly that as the number of pirates in the world has decreased, the average global temperature has increased.
