Income Tax Time---UGH!!!

So Spoofee members, it is "that time of year" again for us to do our income taxes! Have you figured out your taxes yet? Have you filed? Will you remain "unscathed" in the end?!??!:tongue: Do you do your taxes yourself, on the computer, or hire someone to do them for you?

I do my own, and, always have to pay a little something.... With some luck, I should get to all the paperwork by the end of the week.

My goal is to be within $100 either way. I hate giving the Government an interest free loan of my money, and hate having to cough up more at the end.

I do the taxes. I use Turbo Tax online also. I found that if you are a State Farm customer you can use the Turbo tax site for free and file your state taxes for free too. You just need to use the State Farm link whenever you log in before you file. Ours are basically done. I am still waiting on some forms to show up in the mail.

i live alone so i do the ez but i earned a whopping 700 from cafepress and now i dont know where im supposed to put those earnings on my form. does anybody else do anything w/cafepress and know what to do.

They should be sending you a 1099MISC if those are earnings.

It probably classifies as income.

they did send me the form im just not sure where to list the earnings on my ez form. i think im supposed to fill out a schedule c. i need to read over what they sent me again. thanx dan
