i thought this was a really terrible article.
all the guy seemed to complain about was the front end software and his bad online experiance. He seemed to say little/nothing of the hardware itself and the game play experiance....
He Made comparison to comparison to xbox live....
just some thoughts of my own. the xbox live costs about 8 bucks a month right now and the sony service is free. The xbox live service has been running for a year and during that time the service has often been simply terrible. Like for instance when uno came out, it generally didnt work online for the first 3 to 4 weeks. And many other games share this problem. A good referance point is, if you read the game spot review for UMK the writer states as a stroing point for this title it actually runs well on xbox live (since so many games dont :worry: )
dont get me wrong, this might not be the best system ever. but heck hardware bugs are common on launch and the system software can be addressed in future patches. THere have been many xbox live patches in the last year and many of the features this guy spoke of were not available last year at launch.
i just dont think this writer is giving the ps3 a fair shake.... not that i got anything against xbox or xbox live. I have xbox 360 and the system is good. I have xbox live and in my opinion the live service is nothing great. For 8 bucks a month it kind of sucks. I have played pc games online for free and the service has often been so much better.
