I ordered one, but it says: " send your register receipt/proof of purchase to the address below. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of your Thomas & Friends™ Wooden Railway Thomas engine." Do I have to buy one in stores? I am confused. :confused: Please let me know what should I do? Thanks.
 
I got the same message once I placed the "order". I wonder what will happen when I never send a receipt. hmmmmm.......
 
Precisely!! its a Mail in rebate thingy I guess. if they charge more than $2.99 and not send me the engine, i am disputing it on the credit card :D
 
This is a mail in rebate offer if you have already purchased Thomas Trains products. Again this is NOT a straight forward freebie. You must send in proof of a previous purchase.

I got an email this morning saying that my free engine shipped. I wonder if I will get charged full price? Hope not. LOL

I also received the e-mail. My credit card was charged $2.99. The charge looked like this: DIECASTEXPRESSCOM 01/27. Maybe this deal was valid after all.

when did they charge your cc? I just got my bill a couple days ago, and no charge from there. I hope this comes - my girls have one of those huge train tables awaiting Emily's arrival.

The charge was entered on 1/27/06. I received the email this morning.
