How can you PM with Staples when their policy is not to PM with websites. I tried with Newegg and Staples this morning and Staples adds in 1 day shipping for a comparison price.

Thoughts?

Staples does pricematch with websites, but the website has to be an authorized dealer of the product. Last December I received a price match for the Sony Digital camera TSC 1. The phone operator will ask for the website where you found it cheaper and they will let you know if that website is an authorized dealer or not.

Same deal at Amazon?

It's late and I'm tired, but it looks like there is an equally good deal from J&R Music and Computer World -- but only when purchased through Amazon. $50.88 + about $6.50 shipping (my guess) with a reported $50 in rebates. They say the rebate details are on the receipt from J&R. Guess you're supposed to trust them on that one...not sure I do.

I checked www.jr.com and their price is higher there. Plus, it makes it look like you can't get both rebates...so maybe it's not so hot.

If someone wants to double check this offer I'd appreciate it.
