or are other people noticing that their mailboxes have been rather empty lately? My mailbox used to be overflowing with freebies, and now its just the usual junk mail and bills. Is it the economy and companies aren't offering as many freebies, or could it be the fact that I am too busy with my 3 kids under the age of 4 to be looking for freebies any more? I was curious to see if anyone else had noticed this lately ...
 
Well...

for me... it's because I haven't been signing up for every single freebie that's posted anymore. I cleaned out my cabinets last year and threw away a lot of things that I got just because they were free and I never used them.
 
I agree with Bartolec......I think the freebie offers have slowed down and more than likely it's economy driven....:yesnod:.....

:doh: I also stopped signing up for free magazines.....oy!:ack:
 
Ya, the magazines were getting out of hand. I don't like the thought of wasting paper although I do recycle. Think I have enough key chains now too!!! But never enough Idahoan pototoes. I loved that there wasn't a limit on how many coupons you could print. Just got three more free pouches today. And my free D.H. Decadent carrot cake from a rebate and what is better than a free six pack of beer? That Beck's rebates was a great one.
 
Well I am glad I am not the only one ... I miss my overflowing mailbox. I agree with the magazines ... my magazine rack was definitely getting out of hand!

It is not that the freebies are not being sent ot you all...I have just been very busy running around the country taking them out of your mailboxes before you all get them.

And you all should be getting (maybe) subscriptions to any one of the following:

1. Cooking Tips (for your Man)
2. Home Cooking (for your Man).
3. Keeping the House Clean (for your Man)
4. TV Remote Monthly (for your Man).

You forgot to mention Rag's new mag....."101 things to to do with the log that just got pulled from the freezer"....:tongue:

... but I just got a Tivo cookie cutter today... how can you say we don't get any more good freebies... and the muir glen box? how cool was that!


Speaking of magazines... I purged myself of all my guilt of not reading all those magazines by bringing a 3 foot stack (and I am not exaggerating!) of magazines to our Sports Club to leave in the lounge just before Christmas. Ahhhh... the relief.

Unfortunately, I still have a 2 foot stack (which is getting bigger by the month) of magazines that someday I may like to read, but haven't gotten a chance to... here we go again!
