is there any REAL way to make money on the internet with my PC?

At the risk of being buried by spammy type offers, is there any way a regular person with a full time job can use his computer to make money on the interent in the evening hours?

Thanks for any info!

How good are you at "hacking"?

Unless you sign up for every single survey site out there, you still won't make enough to quit your day job (or even pay the electric bill for your extra time on the computer).

sell your stuff on ebay. sell your computer. compile lists of addresses and phone numbers and sell them as 'mailing lists' to companies who send out catalogs, etc.

Check out whydowork.com. They are some out there, but I can't find them either.

try ads, they work for you 24/7 if you have a website.

What do you do for a living? Maybe you could take online classes that would help you earn a degree to increase your pay. I am a teacher, and I would get paid more if I had a master's degree, so I'm working on a master's degree though an online program. My husband is an avionics technician, but he would make more money as an avionics engineer, so he is also looking into continuing his education. A program that is totally online or has online components is really convenient. So I'm doing work online now that will increase my pay later.

notify people they have won the lottery

Well, you could work from home over your internet.

re-shape blue Sweet Tarts into the shape Viagra pills and sell them by email (but you can only do this from canada, though)

Find something you can make as a hobby while you watch TV, then sell it on ebay. Or buy wholesale lots and break them up and sell each item (ex: party supplies, laser pointers, cellphones, DVDs, etc)

Alternatively, start an interesting blog or content site, then get advertisers once you have a decent number of visitors.

Pinecone surveys are great, but I agree that you won't make too much. I've been doing it for 3+ years and I'm up to about 4 surveys/month, at $5 each. It all depends on your demographics and what campaigns they're currently running.

Making a living on the internet is hard work, and takes a lot of luck. I recommend finding some type of niche and exploit the hell out of it.

You can try joining more legitimate survey sites - Get a top 15 list at http://www.paidsurveyworld.net/top-paid-surveys.htm
You can start a blog
But I doubt it will replace a full time job.

Since I can't work, I try to do all the survey sites I can. I am still looking for data entry/typing positions but can't find any. Most jobs want someone w/high speed internet or better, I only have dial-up.
