Is there anyone here that specializes in business tax preparation / law?

I'm in the process of planning fundraising events for the Breast Cancer 3Day and wanted to know if "in-kind donations" are tax deductible at all? I'm assuming that the business will have to assess a retail value for the goods but is that allowed?

Just wondering - I didn't want to look like an idiot and suggest something that is illegal :worry: Thanks for your help!

I'm NOT an expert, but I believe, if your org is a 501c3, then the contribution entity can claim what the give as a charitable contribution.
