FYI guitar centers prices are negotiable just ask your salesperson whats the lowest they can do for you.. I got a guitar case listed for 120.00 for 80.00 bucks once .. and guitar strings listed at 12.00 for 5.00 ...

If you are looking online I would try www.musiciansfriend.com they run good sales from time to time. You could also try amazon or ebay just be careful who you buy from if you do, definately check feedback. Just stay away from Pawn shops IMO, from personal experience, you could get ripped off. Though most music stores will have a good low end beginner guitar for around $100
