Me and Jack are going to bond ...

Actually I'm working and then wrapping presents and anticipating my grown daughter waking me up, going to here place and making me open gifts at 12:01 a.m. (plus I might still have a little confrontation with Jack). My family always opened gifts on Xmas eve. My wife's family always opened gifts on Xmas Day, hence we open them at midnight.

Won't be having any "spirits" to celebrate the holiday, granted I may have a drink every now and again, but the headache gets me so bad the next day, I've sworn off drinking forever, when I get migraines, they are knock me down put me in the bed for a few days kind, so it just isn't worth it. Today, hmmmm going to a friends house from church, then family 2 hours out of town, this morning about 4:30 I got up to finish wrapping presents and do the remainder of the cleaning while everyone snoozes, this is the time of the morning when I get mad at my husband for sleeping and not getting up to help me, I dream up little schemes like pouring water up his nose, :teeth: I even painted his fingernails pink one time, knowing we had no nail polish remover, heh heh. He shouldn't stay up so late watching junk on TV, he'll learn. Then prolly tommorrow I'll be up at O dark thirty with the kids trying to hush them until a decent hour to open presents. Soooo that's my plan and I'm sticking to it.

I'm up and supposed to be wrapping the last of the presents, but I'm tired. My kids will sleep for a while since they were up so late so I can chill on Spoofee for a bit! :) Merry Christmas, Jerry and I hope that you and your family have a Happy & Safe New Year!

That sounds like a great plan, Ultimate! I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, too!

I wish you a RICH new year Joyce!! $$$$$$$$$$ And a heavy foot, lol

  I really need a heavy foot because practicing hasn't done me any good! I found out one thing and that is "I suck at football"!! LOL

I'm really having a hard time grokking the way some people on this board tell time. Two days before Christmas was counted as one day. And now morning is called evening.

Regardless. I'm making pancakes, which we'll eat with blueberries, yoghurt, and maple syrup.

Oh, hush, monkfish! I think you are just grumpy this morning! Will this make you feel better?

We will be going to freinds to exchange gifts. Johanna is finally old enough to notice what's going on around her. It should be lots of fun!

Its Christmas eve, and Im trying to not be sick. Its not really working.. I might have to skip tomorrow with the family.

I just made two homemade Southern pecan pies for tomorrow.
But other than the fact I cannot drive anywhere due to my neck,I am stuck home until the hubbs comes home.
So I am not having much fun.

I hope whatever ails you Squid, you start feeling better.

Well, my family also celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve. So I've been up, cooking since 9 am. Yay. We will eat around 2 ish. DaeShon is sleeping right now, so I put up his tent, and cant wait to see his eyes light up when he sees it. Then, its out to look at the Christmas lights, and back to the house for opening the presents. Yay!

oh .. you mean a real tent.. I was thinking your other post was a euphemism for something else.... *ahem* sorry about that dae'smommy ..

Christmas morning bright and early, exchanging gifts with his family, then to my family's for lunch, then back to his family's for dinner.

Made two quiches... still need to wrap gifts!
