This was kind of a big deal for me since my parents and many many Japanese people watch this at the end of the year.

They pretty much bring out all the hit songs / events for the year. It's live and every messup, mishaps are shown on TV

Look what this one group did.

Warning - Blurry nudity in the background (starts around 2:21)



NHK claims that they were wearing "body suits" so it wasn't nudity.

Why is no one fussing about the fat guy in the front left? He's topless. I thought we were equal??;) ;)

yeah, i didn't notice anything blurry about it :p
 
I do think they were wearing body suits.....see-thru bodysuits. If they were nude there would be a lot more bouncing around not always going in the same direction! :p Also, when they would bend forward..there would be movement, which their isn't.
 
After a careful review of the video, and cleaning the noseprints from my monitor, I agree with Preco's astute observations.

hmm, I guess women and... I guess people that know women can easily tell because they know the physics of le boobs.

My sisters instantly said it's a body suit for sure.
