Do they really get people to pay $30 for this?

This seems like a superfluous product. All the features it offers are already most likely available on your computer. At first glance I thought it was Paint Shop Pro. As my copy of PSP is now a couple of generations out of date I thought I'd upgrade to a newer one for free. Nope. It's something called "Photo Album".

All these photo manipulation abilities are available on PSP, TheGimp,and Irfanview. (last 2 available for free), your scanner, maybe your printer.

Any cheap web cam has album creation and slide show abilities, as do many scanners. Also available free online with a little Googling. Not to mention your own digital camera.

I guess for the totally clueless PSP PA puts everything together in a neat little package.
