John Edward dropping out of Presidential Race

Although I personally didn't support him, I think he had a lot of good points and I think that his dropping out is symbolic of a sad state of affairs in politics today. It all comes down to money, doesn't it? They that have the $$$ get all the media. They get their word out and their face on all the networks. I wonder how it happened, the Presedential campaigns, during the days before radio, TV, cable and internet ...
 
On Public Radio yesterday, they had a caller say he was the first Presidential candidate since Reagan to really talk about poverty in a serious way, and that they hoped that one of the other candidates would become interested in the issue of poverty in America. I thought that was interesting.
