The "Win a Pair of Peridots!" Contest...
It's August, and as the nation swelters and mops its collective brow and other body parts, I thought you might enjoy resting your eyes upon those peridot earrings, because don't they just look like little drops of Spring? Don't they? Well, don't they?? (Ah, c'mon, humor me. )
Truthfully, I love green, and I've always loved peridots. I find them both restful and refreshing, somehow. And my trusty source for peridot lore tells me that peridots are useful for calming "raging anger" and attracting love, which makes sense to me, as you're bound to be much more loveable if you're not going about, say, purple with rage, n'est-ce pas?
