Disagreed. This movie was excellent. The soundtrack was excellent also. The critics got this one all right. Great catch, as I already purchased (without watching it prior) the other day for $19.99 at Wally and was blown away. Great movie.
 
this is my favorite comedy of 2007.
HIGHLY recommended.. enough scoops of wit to go around..! LOL
if you liked SUPERBAD, 40YRD VIRGIN, KNOCKED UP.. and those buddy movies, this will rock your socks! :teeth:
 
Dont buy it.

This movie is original, but makes no damn sense. People would never act this way.
 
This movie was not as good as people say it is. The main actress plays a much intesting role in "Hard Candy." I would not buy this movie. Dont waste your money.
 
This is not an oppropriate thread to serve opinion, but what the hell!

I like this movie, it allowed me to pretend for a second people were as smart as they state they are. Sure, shes too smart for her years socially and intellectually and the rest are way too supportive, but its fiction right? I can pretend for two hours that I was this intelligent at this age too, right? It still has a few good observations that allow me to flex my spiritual introspection....but if you buy a 4 pack of itunes 15 dollar gift cards @ Costco for 56.99 you get this movie free, on the spot.
 
Overrated movie is overrated, but was still pretty good.

I thought it tried too hard to appear like an indy flick and to make itself seem smarter than it really was. 10 minutes into the movie and they had already played a 3rd (obscure) song off the soundtrack.

Definitely recommend watching it though.
