I just figured that people who have cards should register them for the perks...

When you use a Starbucks Card to purchase a 1 lb. bag of whole bean coffee, you will receive a free tall beverage of your choice (including latte with modifiers). By using a registered Starbucks Card, you basically get more for your money.

What other modifiers are excluded from Starbucks Card Rewards?
Exclusions include sauces, such as caramel and raspberry, an extra tea bag, additional espresso shots, and promotion beverages, such as pumpkin spice lattes and honey lattes.

When you're in the store, there's a little pamphlet you can pick up by the registers which outlines all the benefits of paying with a Starbucks card. I think it's orange-colored. I have one clipped to my SB cards downstairs in my purse. And don't forget to use your free drink coupons which came in the mail after registering your cards online last month. Think those expire in August.

Probably because I registered our cards a while back, yesterday my husband received a foldover post card with a cardboard coupon inside good for a free oatmeal with toppings thru 11/3. I didn't receive mine, even tho I'm also registered. Since it says "Rewards" on it, I can only assume it's tied to the registered card somehow. Keep a lookout for these.

Starbucks is doing a "Pick of the Week" this year. It's those little cards that you pick up that have an iTune code on the back. Last year it was a daily new song-this year it appears to be new songs weekly. Check for the display on the counter.
