I was just curious to what everyone does for a living.

I know alot of you are posting during the day, are a majority of you work-at-homer's / stay at home mom's and dad's?

I sell life and health insurance. I make calls from home and go meet people and sell to them. Very flexable, but commission only (way too stressful)... I am currently looking for another work-at-home job opportunity that ISNT a scam. Any Ideas? Since I am so spoiled now, I could never go back into a real work environment.

PS- If you dont feel comfortable sharing your job....don't post!! ;)

I am the Manager of Information Technology at a company in Louisville, KY. My degree is actually in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. They are actually switching our insurance again and it sucks ;-)

I work as a teller at a bank :money:
The pay could definitely be better which is why I am looking for a new job. I drive a total of 60 miles per day which is also draining my bank account. The job is very easy and the hours aren't bad.

I own a computer repair business. I log on to Spoofee as much as some people breathe air.

i stay home with the two kids that don't go to school, and i spend my day running back and forth dropping off/picking up the other 3. i log on to spoofee as much as some people pick their noses.

I am supposed to be a Software engineer. But I am nore like an internet junkie
The pay could be better. ;)

i work in collections. out of the people i interact with, i only know of two who
work out of their homes, one in account payables and another a mortgage broker.

i think you have to have very good luck in finding a telecomute job while
being paid by a company that you dont own yourself.

That song always cracks me up,
I work for a company that sells draft horse supplies, Community Equine Supply, I am the Manager/Shipping Manager, since most orders are shipped via UPS. Our shop is in Beaver Dam, KY. My boss who owns this place, is a nurse, so her other business (Community Oxygen & Medical Equipment) is where we ship from, and that is where my office is. I live in Owensboro, KY which is about 20 minutes from Beaver Dam & 50 minutes from Central City. I am currently working from home for this company. Each fall, we sell Draft Horse calendars for the next year.

I'm an industrial engineer by limited choices I had. I'm in low-30's. The pay is okay, but I've reached the point where there's not much to learn anymore in this field. I could use new challenges for sure. Currently, I work from 7 to 6, by choice. I rarely take my lunchtime, I bring my lunch and eat in my office while working. But I do log on to spoofee several times a day ;)

I'm a "management analyst", which basically means I run various reports and make charts for my boss. I work in the personnel and security office, but most of my job is as the office IT manager. I work in the Pentagon in Washington, DC (well...technically Arlington, VA), and make mid 30's. If I could stand it, I could have a nice career ladder to 60k in 3 more years, but I'm currently looking to go back to school for my Masters degree in Forensic Psychology or Criminal Justice.

In my opinion, you are always learning from what you do,wether you know it or not, also, you need to be happy doing what you are doing, nd you need to make enough money to live off of what you do

I agree. I make about 80% less (no kidding) than I did three years ago, but I am so much more happy! I have less stress and I am doing more of what I love!

I'm a senior in college majoring in Economics and Communications. No job yet although I want one. Kinda of worried what I'm going to do once I'm done with school. I want to get paid a decent wage. Maybe go to graduate school? I'm not sure if I could handle it judging how I study and browse Spoofee every few mins. lol

I am an account manager for this company: http://www.easymatch.com/

My particular clients are Ameriprise, Raytheon and Washington Mutual. I administrate their Matching Gift, Giving Campaign and Volunteer programs, We have many of the Fortune 500 companies as clients. eBay, Google, Gap, Nike, Exxon/Mobil and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to name a few.

I am a railroad engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad. I have been working there for 11 years. The pay is nice but the lifestyle is not the best. :(

I'm a part time hairstylist. I work three days a week and the rest of the time I'm home with the kids.

I'm a research scientist for a global pharmaceutical company, developing safety/stability/identity assays for new drug candidates.

I am a Real Estate Agent and Loan Specialist as well as a part time EBAYER.
