Nice product - great price!

I bought one of these back when they first came out. I think it was $50 back then :eek: - but I used it to convince my wife that it was time to replace our very old crappy energy-wasting refrigerator. A really nice tool for figuring out just how much it costs you to leave that TV plugged in all day (even when it's off, it's using electricity to listen for signals from the remote) or leave your computer in sleep mode or leave your Blackberry charger plugged in when it isn't charging. A geek tool, for sure, but a pretty useful one that will pay for itself in no time at this price!

man this is sweet if you ever wondered how many watts are being used.... tested my xbox360 and sucked up a whopping 170 watts just the 360 not including the tv, LoL since then been using a lcd monitor! good for tv shopping too!!! PLASMAS suck up juice!!!
 
Yes, but you can't assume they are accurate. A truly accurate monitor costs $100+.....
