Kingston 2GB PC2-4200 Notebook Memory for $109.99 Shipped

I have a kingston !gb stick in my lappie and while its hard to review, I can say that its worked flowlessly since installation almost two years ago. At this price, youre a fool to not get it while its available.

I wish I hadnt bought Guitar Hero 2 yesterday! I could really use this. Imagine three gigs of ram in my lappie.. mmmmm. :druel:

My notebook only takes PC-2100 / PC-2700... does anyone know if it will still work with faster RAM (like PC2-4200)? I can't seem to find any sales on PC-2700 RAM lately... that's probably because that memory is so old skool...

I just bought two 1 gb's from Newegg.com yesterday for $129, so this deal is $20 better. Sounds like I return them and get this deal.

Hope 2700 isnt old school

My laptop is a year old and has 2700 and your right, there hasnt been any sales, hope there is a deal soon, I paid 109 for 1 gig 6 months ago.

I had this question about my diesktop machine, and it matters. Chances are that your PC 2X00 ram has a different number and structure of pins. This is DDR2, as opposed to DDR. If your lappie takes DDR2 then this might throttle down to your MB's fastest supported speed, but it could also damage your MB.

Hope that helps

Thanks!... I didn't know that...
