That card is crap. I actually bought that one first last year when I wanted to add a tuner to my PC. I couldn't believe how much it sucked. Spend the few extra bones and buy a Leadtek TV2000XP Deluxe. When I bought mine last year it was $43.

I was just thinking of buying that !!!!!!
I need one Fast for the Kid's school project.
HELP????????????

I apologize, I should have explained my "suck" response a little further than I did. The picture on the KWorld card is really, REALLY poor. Compared to about 10-15 dollars more for the Leadtek card I mentioned it is worlds better than the one in this deal. If you can do it, I highly recommend the Leadtek card over this one.

i also have the Leadtek tv2000 expert edition. really decent quality for $45 bucks. lots of good features on it too.

Just decent quality ?..what would be a really good quality card..and how much ?

Half the battle is finding the right drivers and such.Capturing properly can be a very long, weird, tedious project.

ATI All In Wonder cards are nice. They come with a program to make your computer a sort of Tivo box.

I too am looking for a HQ TV card... I looked at the ATI TV Tuners @ the store.. Hows that Leadtek card compare? I used to have an AIW, never used it tho, then I upgraded to a 9800 Pro and poof went the TV Tuner.. Then wouldn'tcha know, now I want Tivo on my puter.. argh!

I've been out of town for a while, so I wish I would have had a chance to post this earlier ... let me just say this card isn't worth the circut board that it is stamped on. If you already ordered it, Im sorry, if your thinking about it, dont ... find an ATI card or somthing similar, but dont go with KWorld.

OK, let me be a little more fair and explain myself. If your only planning on using this to watch live TV using KWorld's propritary softare ... then fine it will probably do as you wish, although the vid and audio are subpar. If you want to use 3rd party software such as WinDVR, or SnapStream PVR forget about it ... granted, this card comes with Intervideo WinDVR, but the catch is you cannot change the channel with any software other than KWorld's propritary software, so if you were hoping to make a Tivo-like system using this card ... forget about it, its a lost cause.

In summary, here is my grading sheet:

Manually watching Live TV:
Video: C+
Audio: D+

Automatically recording shows like a Tivo does:
F for lack of functionality.
