looking for an expensive laser(or inkjet)fax machine. I looked at the sharp am 900 but the rebate is over and they are out of stock.
Need with feeder with at least 20 pages feed capacity.
Thanks

To tell you the truth, you may want to look at a multifunction inkjet or laser machine that has fax capability. Fax machines are obselete and therefore there aren't too many inkjet/laser fax only machines. Sharp has one that was on sale at Staples for $30 the other day.

However, for an extra $20 or maybe less on sale, go get an HP OfficeJet 4215 or a similar machine that does fax as a function. The 4215 can be had for around $60 shipped from Newegg, but there are better promos on them. If you want a laser powerhouse, there's a Samsung multifunction unit with both a sheet feeder and a flatbed for $188 shipped AR from Newegg. I also have used a Brother MFC-3240C which was a very nice unit for faxing, but I now have the HP.

Might be worth it to go that way.

thanks Eric

I ordered the samsumg one. Final price$188 after $30 rebate.
I needed the feeder pretty bad. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!

You're welcome! That machine has both a flatbed and a sheet feeder, so it's really versatile. $188 seems like a small price to pay for the features.

got this machine and loved it.
Easy to use, nice size (not a monster as I had expected)
a bit noisy but once it hits the safe mode (after 5 min) is completely silent and any ways all lasers are noisy! besides that, it is a great home office product.
Would recommend

Yeah, once they kick to standby they're silent. I got three of these machines for various clients and I like it so far as well.
