Well, I couldn't resist at this price (thanks for the heads up!). I'm fully expecting to find out that my order is backordered or whatever, but it's worth a shot. Most places don't even have the gamecube version in stock, let alone at $20 less than everywhere else. I guess we'll see!

If anyone else ordered the gamecube version from Deep Discount DVD, let me know what happens!

Yeah - I don't have a wii (yet), but I may eventually get one. I actually just bought a gamecube about a month ago after seeing how cheap games are for it right now. I loaded up on a bunch of the best games for $10-$15 each... can't beat that, especially when a new GC is only $100.

Circuit City has the Wii version for around $40 shipped online right now ($37.50 plus tax if applicable)... a very good deal for the wii version.

Price error. Regular price should be $49.99, not $29.99. Anyway, ordered 5 and just got order confirmation from DDD, stating that items have been discontinued. Anyone else got the same order notification?

Same here. Funny thing is that the website still shows as in stock at the same price. Awful business practice.

From the sounds of things (customer reviews), this is a very common procedure at DDD.
 
Well someone new posted only two times & each was for this deal.

I hope they aren't collecting info.

wtf? Are they serious? Twilight Princess for the Gamecube discontinued? Come on now...
 
I have yet to have a problem with DDD but this is ridiculous. Nonetheless I will still buy from them for the cheap dvds they offer as well as some video games.
 
It's still listed as in stock and at that same price. This is just unacceptable business practice, and is clearly false advertising. Does anyone know how to quickly/easily file a complaint with the BBB? It might not help me, but maybe it can prevent others from getting suckered in to giving their personal information to them.

ETA: I've reported the issue to pricegrabber, hopefully at least they do something to remove DDD from that price comparison page.
