I have heard of people who go to the store and buy a new printer that uses the cartridges they need. they open the box take out the new and pop the old ones in the new printer and return it. never tried it but it might work.

How would they feel if they went and bought a new printer got home set it all up went to use it and then found that someone had done that very same thing to it?? That's just wrong.

Hey babs, I know you don't like the refill kind, but have you tried the remanufactured kind? It's where the cartridge is completely remanufactured by the likes of OfficeMax or Staples. If they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, then I'd go for it.

(I don't know if they do or not. I own a computer store and have a vendor that reman's the cartridges for well below the big box store prices, and he guarantees the cartridges with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I've not had a single complaint from my customers about the service, but this may be an anomaly.)
