I think you can now get a hd-dvd player for around $60 if you want to go that route....

I think I will wait, I checked the price of the discs the other day and they were about $25 each for Sony discs!!!! What good is it if you can afford the drive but the media will bankrupt you... I suppose I could watch the movies on my pc with my 24" monitor (thanks Spoofee), but still it pails in comparison to watching it on the TV!!
