Great freebie! Since they issue more tickets than seats, anyone know typically how far in advance you need to arrive? (It's a far drive & parking cost for us). Thanks.

Yay our city is on there! My husband has been dying to see this movie! :claps:

How does it work? It said the theater and time but what ?? like a milion people show up?? Maybe I'll call the theater?

Here is the Lijnk to all 3 movies :bigok:
Reel Moments Free Screenings

1. Bee Season - Saw it last night. Artsy but cool visuals, story hard to follow unless you read the book but visually not borring.

2. Just friends

3. Rent

Not sure, but since it's it's first come, first served, how early you should get there would probably depend on how popular the movie was. maybe if you arrive 1 1/2 to 2 hrs in advance , that would be a good idea (definitely not right when the movie starts, you know?)

I'd say if it starts at 7, I'd get there around 5:30 (1 1/2 hours in advance as penpen suggested). I live in Austin, so people are nuts when it comes to movie premieres - so that's why I usually go really early. It's worked out well in the past since I typically accompany one of my friends who works for the paper here. Grab some fast food and eat while you wait in line!

Thanks for this freebie! I can't wait - fiance has been wanting to see this!

Darn. These free screenings never come up this way.

I feel so neglected.

"We're not gonna pay, We're not gonna pay.. Last year's rent!"

I heart Rent! w00t

I think it really depends on the movie that's being screened.

My daughter went to see Harry Potter on Sunday - her friends got there at Noon and there was already a line at that time. Movie started at 2pm and they had to turn away a LOT of people since they over invite.

This movie may not be AS big, but a lot of people are dying to see it, so plan ahead. Last movie I saw, PRIZE WINNER OF DEFIANCE OHIO, I got there an hour early, could of been 15 minutes before. Just not a movie a lot of people ran to see, but for the record, I liked it :D

Only thing I wish is that they'd make it at a theater that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for parking  At least this one is close to home, usually they are about an hour away.

I just went and saw "Just Friends" earlier this evening. There was almost no line and the theater was only about 1/5 full. It was a fun movie, and as we left the theater, there were 2 tables w/freebies out in the lobby.

One had Glamour magazines and the other had Glamour gift bags (containing a clothing ad, a card for a free music download, and a cell phone purse thingy). :)

Does anyone know where to sign up for these ahead of time. I have heard of people getting tickets in the mail??

nothing ever comes to my neighborhood, either, snowie, don't feel bad. the movie premiers must not like the south..ha ha
