I heard NECs are quieter than the Lite-Ons too.
 
I want to ask do any different between "double layer" and "duel layer" of the DVDRW?
And what is the function of them?

dual and double layer are the same, just different name, but dual format is different. Dual layer or double layer burner can burn the so call D9 media which have two layer and double the size of a regular D5 dvd 4.3G. Regular dvd burner can only burn D5 not D9. Burner support dual layer can burn both. Although the price of the D9 media is still high but why not get the newest technology when you can affort it.
