The program concept is very simple. Liverpool Public Library patrons who are 16 years of age and older and who have signed up for the program in advance will receive a personal logbook in which to record the titles of the books they have read. Audiobooks count, too!

The logbook will also serve as an over-sized bookmark. An online log, accessible from the library’s Web site, www.lpl.org, may be maintained as well if personally desired. When the individual has completed reading or listening to 23 books, fiction or nonfiction, and reports the accomplishment to library staff, the reader will be given a free t-shirt that says "I READ 23 BOOKS FROM LIVERPOOL LIBRARY" on the back. The words "Liverpool Public Library" will appear in small letters on the front where a pocket would be.

It sounds like a good deal if you live near Liverpool.

Not your typical "fill out the web form and get a t-shirt offer".

You have to go to the library to pick up your shirt after first proving you have read 23 books..
 
I think it is west of Binghamton, NY.

I agree it's not for everyone but those in the area can take advantage of it and maybe learn something too !!

I normally post the deal if it is free whether or not 100% of us can use it. :bigok:

Gezz seeing how I just went thru Liverpool tonight its in upstate 5 minutes north of Syracuse... :)

I don't think so... it just wouldn't be right.

There are many Spoofee members and they just might be able to take advantage of this offer.

The offer is out there, you know what you have to do to take advantage of it, - let it be.
